| Ampeg SVX – Main Features: |
| Could you explain me the High Level Control concept and how to use it? |
|
Considering that Ampeg speakers have various types of high frequency drivers
(tweeters), Ampeg SVX implemented an innovative system to capture and
emulate the complete two way speaker system. Select the CAB module
and then click on the High Level button (it will show you the
back of the cabinet). Moving the Level Control big knob sets
the level of the tweeter from –inf (tweeter OFF) to 0 dB.

| Which is the function of the Mix control? |
Through the Mix control you are able to balance the sound between your
direct bass signal and the selected Ampeg SVX’s miked amp, as done
in professional recording environments. The Mix control’s range
goes from Direct (0%) to Amp (100%).
Note: Remember that the direct sound is post Stomps.

| How can I use the Phase control? |
|
The Phase control adds a variable small delay to the direct sound.
So if you change the delay time value (from 0 to 20 ms) while
combining the Direct and Amp sounds, the time alignment
between them will be modified. Experimenting with different values
will allow you to expand your sound spectrum.
