Miroslav Philharmonik 1.0 - Installation/Authorization/iKey:
After having installed Miroslav Philharmonik I have a crash when launching my Syncrosoft-protected sequencer.
Launch the Syncrosoft's LCC (from Programs on Windows or Applications on Mac).
If you get a crash go to Syncrosoft's http://www.syncrosoft.com and download the latest License Control Center (LCC), then install it on your system.
The problem will be solved.

Before launching the installer, as soon as I insert the iKey I have windows displaying the "Found New Hardware Wizard" and I don't know what to do.
|
Cancel the Wizard and DO NOT plug the iKey before installing the Miroslav Philharmonik plug-in. Plug the iKey only when the Miroslav Philharmonik asks for it.

I have installed Miroslav Philharmonik with ProTools LE. When I launch ProTools I get the error "This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Then Philharmonik is not available as a plug-in. Why?
This system file is required to run Miroslav Philharmonik.
Some newer installs of WindowsXP may not have this file installed, as it was released after WindowsXP.
To correct this issue, please go the User Area, download and install the Miroslav Philharmonik 1.1 WinXPb.zip version.

I'm on Windows XP, and I'm installing the plug-in but as soon as the installer reaches the step "Miroslav Philharmonik Setup is performing requested operations" the system gives an error.
You probably have not inserted the iKey when the installer asked for it.
Uninstall the plug-in, and reinstall it, inserting the iKey only when the Installer asks for it.
Always carefully read the instructions provided by the onscreen installer.
This happens because in order to complete the installation of the plug – in’s DXi version, the installer needs to load it "behind the scenes".
Thus to complete this installation step the iKey must be inserted, just like every other situation when the protected plug - in must be loaded.
To summarize once again the correct workflow is:
- Start our plug-in installer
- Be sure the iKey is NOT inserted
- The Syncrosoft installer is automatically started by our installer
- When Syncrosoft installation is finished, and our installer asks for it, connect the key
- Complete the installation
Please read the onscreen instructions carefully! The installer will show an explanation dialog box every time the iKey must be disconnected or connected.

While installing Philharmonik, Windows launches the "Found New Hardware Wizard". What should I do?.
As the installer suggests:
- Wait for Windows "Found New Hardware Wizard" screen.
- If you're asked to search for the device drivers on the Internet select "No, not this time" and press Next.
- On next screen select "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" and click Next.
- The Windows Wizard will install the drivers automatically. Click Finish to close the Windows Wizard.

I have changed my studio computer, and now the plug-in is asking for authorization again, do I need a new Authorization Code?
No. When you authorized the product for the first time you will receive an Authorization Code which is tied with the iKey
you used at that time.
If you are still using that iKey, the same Authorization Code you received on your old computer will work for the new one.
So reinsert the same Serial Number and Authorization Code you previously received by email.

Why does the Authorization Wizard continue to pop up in Cubase/Nuendo?
If you used the option "Always on top" in Cubase/Nuendo, the new Authorization Wizard window will pop
up every time Cubase is switched from background to foreground.
For example: When authorizing Philharmonik (and therefore switching to the Internet browser and Cubase a number of times) a new Authorization Wizard will open up a number of times. This prevents the Authorization to be completed and will probably crash the application. To prevent this from occurring, simply turn off "Always on top" in Cubase's/Nuendo's plug-in preferences.
