Miroslav Philharmonik 1.0 - iKey:
What is the iKey and how does it work?
The USB Key (or Dongle) is made by Syncrosoft (www.syncrosoft.com) for IK Multimedia, and called the "iKey". The iKey is very similar to Steinberg keys, but it's red and carries the IK logo on it. The iKey act as an electronic wallet and can include one or more "Licenses" for one or more products. The License is an "object" that resides on the iKey and allows the related product to run.
Note: Miroslav Philharmonik 1.1 does NOT require the iKey.

How Miroslav Philharmonik iKey protection works.
The Miroslav Philharmonik box contains an iKey with a pre-installed license for Miroslav Philharmonik on it. The license for Miroslav Philharmonik is called "Philharmonik 1.x".

IMPORTANT: There is NO need to install or activate any License by the user on the iKey to start using Miroslav Philharmonik. The required IK registration (see this document later on) is there just because we want the users to register their product, but it has nothing to do with the iKey, which is "ready" to go as soon as it is taken out of the box.

I am a Steinberg Cubase (or Nuendo) user, can I use my Syncrosoft USB key to run my Miroslav Philharmonik 1.0?
Yes, you must simply transfer the license from the included iKey to your Steinberg key.
This is done through the LCC (License Control Center) which is installed with the product and can also be downloaded from the Syncrosoft website.
This has to be done connecting both Keys to the same machine (Mac or PC), which must be connected to the Internet.
For further information on transferring licenses please refer to the LCC's Help menu.
