T-RackS - Vista:
I bought a computer that has Vista installed on it. What do I have to do to use T-RackS?
  1. Go to the User Area and download the latest T-RackS update. If this is your first IK product, please go to the Product Registration page and register it. After you receive your IK account information by e-mail, go to the User Area\Download software updates and Free contents and download the T-RackS 1.3 update.


  2. Install T-RackS under an Administrator account.
  3. To check your account type, go to Start\Settings\Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Account. Check the information located to the icon’s right side, below the account name (e.g. IK HP PC). The account type is specified: Administrator.



    If you are using another account type, please create a new Administrator account and install the T-RackS 1.3 update.

  4. If during the Installation process the "Default VST path not found in registry" message box appears, click OK.

  5. If the following Open File – Security Warning message appears while double clicking the T-RackS 1.3 Installer: “The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?” click Run.


  6. If the following User Account Control message appears: “An unidentified program wants to access your computer”, click Allow .


  7. The T-RackS 1.3 installation wizard will start. Please follow the onscreen instructions. After you have successfully installed T-RackS 1.3, this window will appear:

    Click the Finish button.
  9. Now launch your Vista compatible host application, (e.g. Live 6, Sonar 6.2.1, etc), and insert T-RackS 1.3 in your selected track. To Register-Authorize T-RackS 1.3, follow the instructions provide it in the Product Authorization Wizard .

I just upgraded my PC’s OS from XP to Vista. What do I have to do to use T-RackS?


Just launch your Vista compatible host application, (e.g. Live 6, Sonar 6.2.1, etc), and insert T-Racks 1.3 in your selected track. If by any reason, you have to re-authorize your product please follow the next instructions:

  1. After launching your product and reaching the third Product Authorization Wizard window, please select:
  2. Yes, I already have an Authorization Code for this key . Click Next .
  3. Now, log in into the IK Multimedia User Area at https://www.ikstore.com/Login/IKLogin. Find your IK product and copy its Authorization Code (it will be highlighted in yellow).
  4. Go back to the Product Authorization Wizard and click on the Paste button.
  5. A green check mark will be displayed if the process was successful. Click Next .
  6. As a final step, please click Finish .
